Systems for finishing of components of steel and aluminium sheets, or plastics. Typical applications are hole punching, marking or joining operations, which are required as additional processing steps in the manufacture of the finished component. The forming forces thus generated are between ca. 1 to 100 kN.
We have been working in these fields of application for over 15 years with a focus on body panels. We are in a position to resort to a large pool of experience, in particular with respect to customised solutions.

Toggle Lever Technology
We supply a very large product range of C-frame systems and toggle-joint clamps in X-design as forming tools.
With more than 1 000 applications for serial production, TÜNKERS offers a large potential of experience with piercing and hole-punching clamps for steel and aluminium sheet components. Piercing operations – even under the hardest conditions – form tasks which we realise by means of the compact toggle-joint clamps and C-frame systems with pneumatic, hydraulic or pneumohydraulic drives especially developed for this forming process.
Clinching is the alternative to resistance spot welding as a joining procedure for sheet components. Non-weldable materials such as coated and varnished metal sheets, combinations of steel and aluminium and pairings can be joined easily and safely via intermediate layers subject to comparable resistance.
When aluminium sheet metal, steel sheet metal or plastic has to be formed, you’ve come to the right place. With a whole series of custom solutions for bending, cutting, folding, and crimping, we have a rich background of experience in process and tooling technology at our disposal.

In retrospect, 50 years of Tünkers are also 50 years of solutions for automation technology.
Since the beginning in the year 1962, TÜNKERS has been focusing on "automation" in the field of systems designed for steel processing, hydraulic cylinders for mobile cranes and concrete pumps, vibro-hammers for civil engineering operations and laminating systems for paper processing, among other things.
