The toggle-joint clamp has become a universal tool in body-in-white assembly lines. So why not use this standard as a drive for other functions in body-in-white assembly?

As a low-cost “universal machine”, the clamp has a mechanical transmission, a toggle-lock end position and, of course, an end position sensor: All these are functions that can also be used for other movements, such as moving, lifting, rotating or locating.
