Clinching – Connections without Additives

Clinching is a proven sheet metal joining process in body assembly.

The advantages of this procedure are, in contrast to welding, adhesive bonding or riveting, that the joint connections are created by purely forming the mating plate. This is particularly advantageous for joining different materials or thicknesses of the sheet metal.

By combining an optimized Tünkers C frame, the heavy duty Tünkers multi-force cylinder and the BTM Tog-O-Loc® tools a robust and precisely working clinching unit which achieves optimal results is created.
