APM Container Changing System

Items that were in the past common practice for certain applications, have now been adopted as a standard for use in automotive manufacture. 

Component pallet changing systems automatically move components loaded by fork truck into the unload position of the robot. Each empty container is then delivered back at high level for the fork truck to access.

For many years, APM, part of the Tunkers Iberica team, have designed and supplied these type of systems as part of their plant integration. The new design shown at our recent symposium improves further on the existing systems and makes it a more reliable and robust process.
